An independent app studio · British Columbia

Small tools, tended
with great care.

Eden App Studio is one person making quiet, honest software. Plain prices, no ads, no tricks — and whatever you make with it stays yours.

What we're growing

Two apps, each its own thing.

Different problems, different people — grown from the same soil.

Daylark

A day counter for the things that matter — days since, days until, and the story you carry in between. No account, three counts free. Android, September 2026.

TaskNode

How we work

Three things we hold to.

Yours to keep

What you write down belongs to you. It lives on your device, exports freely, and leaving is always allowed — whatever we build later, that doesn't change.

No surveillance

No ad networks, no data brokers, no selling anything about you to anyone. Where an app needs to collect something to work, we say so plainly and collect the least we can.

Honest asking

Plain prices, stated up front — no countdown timers, no dark patterns, and a free tier that's genuinely useful. If software asks for money, it should ask the way a neighbour would.

Built to keep growing

Some apps will need more than a phone.

Daylark and TaskNode keep everything on your device, with no account and no server holding your content. That's the right shape for what they do — but it won't be right for everything. Some things worth building need an account to sync across devices, or a server to hold the parts a phone can't.

When that day comes, it will be said out loud: what's stored, where, why, and how to get it back out. Our privacy policy already describes the standard any future app has to meet, and every app's own page will tell you exactly what it does. No app here will quietly start collecting more than it did yesterday.

About the studio

Why “Eden”?

Eden is where the story starts — a garden, tended, before anything went wrong. We build for people who are starting again, or keeping at it: the first day without, the first day toward, the shift that begins when everyone else is asleep.

This is one person in New Westminster, British Columbia. Not a company, not a team. Small on purpose — here's who you're actually talking to.
