Yes. Three counts, the journal with photos, backup, export, restore, migration, the small widget, and every app theme are free forever. One optional purchase adds unlimited counts, larger widgets, and cosmetic extras. No subscription, no ads, ever.
No. Daylark has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers. Your data lives on your phone.
With automatic backup on (the default), your counts and notes restore when you sign into your new Android phone and reinstall Daylark. Photos don't ride along in automatic backup — use Export with photos now and then to keep a complete copy wherever you choose.
No. When creating a count, choose “I'm on day ___” and type your number — Daylark computes the start date and your history carries on unbroken. You can add several counts in one pass if you're bringing more than one.
Deleted counts and entries rest in the archive for 30 days before they're gone for good, and a restart can be undone within 24 hours. Check Settings → Archive.
Daylark does its date arithmetic in your timezone, anchored to the moment you set. If something still looks wrong, email us with the date you started and the number shown — this is exactly the kind of bug we most want to hear about.
Add a fourth count or reach for a larger widget, and Daylark will offer the upgrade once — a single payment through Google Play, at the price set for your country. If you decline, nothing nags you afterwards.
Never. Everything you made stays, widgets already placed keep working, and export keeps working. You just can't create new pro-tier things.
